- *Colored Nasal Discharge— Yellow, green, or thick nasal discharge is more concerning than a one-off clear sneeze and warrants veterinary review.

Treatment Protocol
Antibiotics for bacterial rhinitis. Keep nasal area clean.
Recommended Medications
Dosage: 2ml per quart of drinking water (10% solution)
Duration: 5-7 days
Alternative if Enrofloxacin unavailable
Dosage: 150mg/kg body weight, orally twice daily
Duration: 7-10 days
Dosage: Per product instructions, typically once daily
Duration: 7-14 days (during and after antibiotic treatment)
Home Care
- +Gently clean nasal discharge with warm saline-dampened cotton
- +Keep bird warm at 30°C
- +Increase humidity in the room
When to See a Vet
If discharge becomes thick/green, or breathing becomes labored.
