Look
Wild-type coloration. Bright green body, yellow head, black throat spots, black striping on back. The foundation for all color mutations.
Genetics
No mutations; wild-type. Green color results from yellow psittacin pigment combined with structural blue coloration.
Health & care
Wild green is close to the original look and easy for beginners to assess, but health still depends on energy, breathing, droppings, weight, and care.
Sexing tip
Adult males have blue cere (above beak); females have brown or white cere.
